[about]
This is an experimental branding project for a potential library called "The Leabrán." It is a simple, vintage-inspired library and bookstore that sells new as well as second-hand books.
“The Leabhrán” is a name that culminates many different things, in which the original term comes from the Old Irish “lebrán”, meaning “book”. Adding the suffix “-an” to the term, “leabhrán”, brings us the term “booklet” instead.

Taking account of it’s etymology, the brand adopts the term as a name which specifically entails the branding of a potential library and book shop where patrons and fellow book enthusiasts could purchase new and secondhand books, as well as serve as a space where people could freely read to their hearts’ content.
By our definition, “The Leabrán” does not only serve as a library but it also represents a person or a character based out of a story, almost like a protagonist who finds solace in the form of books.
